Our Fishing Guides are the some of the best in the region each is a life-long fisherman,  professionally licensed in the State of Alaska, has completed an extensive river training program, swift-water rescue certification I &II and First Aid/CPR (WFR). In addition to professional fishing instruction our guides can inform you about the regions natural history.

Jeremy Martin

Jeremy is Grove's Copper River Fishing safety specialist. His ability to read rivers gives him the edge when it comes to finding the fish. Jeremy spends most of his free time fishing his way around Alaska. When the snow flies he finds time to explore new ice fishing waters in the high lakes of the Eastern Chugach Mountains. In spring Jeremy works as a snowboard guide, just north of Valdez, Alaska. Jeremy holds certifications in Wilderness First Response (WFT), and Swift-water Rescue I & II (SRT I & II). If you are looking for an expert fishing professional who can teach you how to fish or provide coaching to help improve your fast water fishing technique, Jeremy is your guide.

Sean Gutenkust

Sean has been guiding expert level sport-fishing trips in the Copper River Basin for over a decade. Sean specializes in king salmon fishing with spinning gear and on the fly rod. He can teach you a variety of traditional fly-casts as well as two handed spey casting techniques. When Sean is not guiding for trophy-sized Copper River salmon you can find him chasing steelhead on the best steelhead fishing rivers in the state of Alaska. Sean is trained in swift-water and wilderness first aid. If you are looking for an expert river technician Sean is the guide for you. Stephanie Holcomb

Stephanie has been guiding spin fishing and fly-fishing trips in Alaska for 13 years. A life long pursuit of sport-fishing has shaped Stephanie into one of the regions top  fishing guides. When it comes to hunting trophy-sized Copper River king salmon, Stephanie is our expert. Her ability to share local knowledge and help anglers improve their fishing technique, continues to produce fish, trip after trip.
